Khenpo Ngaga ?¡ãwas a source of learning and spiritual attainment, having trained thirty-seven great khenpos and presided over thirty thousand ordinations during his tenure. Arik Rinpoche was a majestic wish-fulfillling gem, a treasure vase yielding all that is positive and auspicious. -- Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche in ?¡ãA Marvelous Garland of Rare Gems?¡À, an authoritative account of the biographies of the great lineal Masters of the Dzogchen Lineage.   It was a sign of Tulku Arik?¡¥s meditative power that he had been able to practice in Tromt?¡¥har throughout the bad times, though on several occasions the Chinese  [ Communists ] sent Tibetan malcontents to harass him. The first, a woman, marched in, sat down and launched into a diatribe. Tulku Arik made no reply, but remained in immovable meditation. Finally, she fell silent, powerless to say more. The next day she returned and respectfully made an offering. ?¡ãOh no!?¡À Tulku Arik protested. ?¡ãIf you come like this, the Chinese [ Communists ] will be offended, and it will be hard on you. With all my heart, I rejoice and offered my prayers for all beings to be liberated into Lord Buddha Amitabha?¡¥s Pure Land!!?¡À   Achuk Rinpoche has hence commanded His student ¡§C Gama Sangye Rinpoche - to hold Grand Pujas, initiations and all practices related to Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok?¡¥s cycle on this Buddha Amitabha?¡¥s Pure Land Practice as often as is possible all across Tibet and inconceivable manifestations of Buddha Amitabha?¡¥s blessings and compassion are witnessed by thousands of students whenever the practices are conducted.   This will be the first time Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok?¡¥s Buddha Amitabha Pure Land Practice will be revealed and transmitted in Singapore in its entirety.      * Sertha Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok and Achuk Rinpoche are known by Tibetans in Tibet respectively as the Sun and Moon-like Masters.   An ?¡ãAside No. 2?¡À:   Sertha Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok with His distinguished Entourage, on a trip to the main Sakya temple in Tibet, requested the care-taker of the great temple to be allowed to take His seat on the spiritual throne of the Sakya Trizin, the Supreme Head of the Sakya Lineage.   The care-taker deferred adding that when the late Panchen Lama visited, He had not even make such a request but in fact sought blessings from the throne.   Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok then explained that should He be allowed to take His seat on the spiritual throne of the Sakya Head, He will, in accordance to a commitment He made to His Sakya Teacher, take His next re-birth into the Sakya lineage, to protect and flourish the Sakya teachings in His next life.   In addition, Rinpoche revealed that Guryi Gonpo, Two-Arm Black Mahakala, main protector of the Sakya lineage, has Himself requested Rinpoche to take birth into the Sakya lineage.   Unfortunately, owing to the lack of merit of sentient beings, the auspicious connection has not been forged !!
