a private video screening ( for charity !! ), of one of the greatest
Masters of the century, Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse, the late Supreme
Leader of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism
In this precious masterpiece, some
of Khyentse Rinpoche's rarest footages are captured and
shown, probably for the very first time on film: His early years
as a ( relatively !! ) unknown yogi / His early years in-exile
/ His return to Tibet and His eventual emergence as a Teacher
of the Dalai Lama --
Screened, including an exclusive
interview of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the discovery and
ordination of Khyentse Rinpoche as well as some of the most
spectacular scenes on earth of Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal...... of meadows
suffused with a thousand butter-yellow flowers, hill groves of pristine, sacred
pines and Khyentse Rinpoche in passionate red, scowling black of some
of Tibet's most esoteric rituals --
The film is narrated by Richard Gere,
with music by Philip Glass.
